Columbia Metals have been presented with their AS9120 certificate at an awards ceremony hosted by the British Standards Institute (BSI) in Milton Keynes. The presentation followed Columbia Metals’ success in obtaining AS9120 approval in October 2019.
Anne Scorey, Managing Director of BSI UK, handed over the certificate to the Columbia Metals team. In attendance were David Stephenson, Managing Director, William Bradley, Quality and Technical Manager (pictured with the certificate, right), and Rowan Gosnal-Tyler, Quality and Technical Engineer.
AS9120 certification is the standard for distributors to the aerospace industry, which by its very nature demands high reliability and quality. The standard incorporates all the elements of ISO9001, providing assurance to the end customer that the distributor has ensured all products are properly sourced and traced.
