PB102 is the standard grade of wrought phosphor bronze, containing additions of around 5% tin and up to 0.4% phosphorus to enhance its wear resistance, mechanical strength, stiffness and corrosion resistance. PB102 is particularly suitable where cold formability, good mechanical properties and high corrosion resistance are required.
PB 102 also has a reasonable machinability and good weldability in addition to excellent soldering, brazing and butt welding capability.
