S32760 / SEACOL-760

Stainless Steel

S32760 / SEACOL-760

S32760 is a grade of super-duplex based on 25% chromium / 7% nickel with an addition of tungsten which enhances the pitting index (PREN) even further above the 40 minimum and also contributes to alloy strength.

This high resistance to pitting is combined with a high tensile strength and higher resistance to stress corrosion cracking at moderate temperatures to that of conventional austenitic stainless steels. A small addition of copper (lower than in S32550 / AMAZON 256) enhances its general corrosion resistance.
