Columbia Metals have received the SC21 Bronze Award in a ceremony at the Farnborough International Airshow. The award and certificate were presented to William Bradley, Quality and Technical Manager (pictured with the certificate, right), by Colin Hart, Head of SC21 at the ADS, the trade organisation representing the aerospace, defence, security and space industries. Columbia Metals were formally notified of their success in attaining the Bronze Award earlier in July.
SC21 is an improvement programme designed to accelerate the competitiveness of the aerospace and defence industry by raising the performance of its supply chains. It is administered by the ADS and endorsed by the Ministry of Defence and the major UK aerospace and defence companies.
