Columbia Metals has taken delivery of a band sawing machine that further increases the service proposition the company is able to offer its customers. The Forte SBA 361/S has been successfully installed and commissioned in the Bedford warehouse and has already prepared several hard-to-cut customer orders.
The Forte saw can cut round bar up to 14” diameter and features a twin pillar design that enables two metal bars to be cut simultaneously. The German-made machine will contribute to improving customer lead times for complex cutting jobs.
